GSM Malaya Clasp Medal and Paperwork / Photo Grouping. Rhondda Interest.

A good large grouping of paperwork and photos relating to M.J.Thomas who served two years in Malaya from 1952 to 1954. WW2 German Black Wound Badge, Double Marked, EH-126.

Badge manufactured by the firm Eduard Hahn. Badge has over 90% of it's period finish. The rear has it's period hardware with this example having double manufacturers stamps. The fixing pin does not fully rise, please check the last photo folks.  read more

German M40 Helmet. NS64.

This helmet is manufactured from a lighter weight steel compared to wartime steel helmets. I presume these were produced in the postwar years by the NS factory. WW2 German 25 Year Long Service Award .

The medal has 100% of it's bright factory finish including it's burnished highlights and sharp detail to the design. This example comes with a period ribbon with fixing pin to the rear. Both items where found together, the medal would need to be added to the ribbon .  read more

British 1st Division Group.

Small grouping that belonged to a G.Mikes who was an Artillery man who served in the 1st Division in Italy. The formation patches shout out Italy with them being constructed over a celluloid base ready for wear.  read more

WW2 German M42 Helmet Shell.

Relic shell that I estimated at being a size 64 at least. Shell is solid with main corrosion around the rim. The liner band and liners pins are the helmets period examples. I found the reproduction chinstrap attached so will leave "as is".  read more
