Late war version thats in pretty good condition with no holes or tugs to the material and tight stitching. Overall color to the material is strong but has some slight marking from storage. The 1938 dated shell and 1939 dated liner first left the factory as an early army helmet, the first coat of early brown military finish can be seen in ares of damage to the outside and the inner area under the liner. WW2 German Dress Bayonet. E.Pack & Sohn.
This example would have been extremely nice hadn't it been for the missing top fixing button. Anyway i presume somebody would like a restoration piece.
