Late War German M31 Mess Tin.
Miss matched tin with just the slightest color difference to top and bottom. Top is stamped DMN-43 with no marks found on the bottom half as expected with the side wire brackets found of mate war examples. Color to both i would rate at over 95% with wear mainly to the bottom seen by the red enamel seen in areas of damage. The inside to both pieces can be seen the late war enamel finish. read more

The heavy 12 inch blade has a nice amount of its period finish mixed with some minor staining and scratches , no stamped details to either side.
