Suffering from slight moth damage to the pipping and a couple of nips to the black body material especially to the top. Manufacture is typical of caps produced during WW2 as is the inside label for the firm ''Alkit'', perhaps from around 1943. Chinstrap is in good condition as is the inner sweatband and tightly fitting peak. Size 7 paper label found to the back of the sweatband. read more

1945 Dated Highland Light Infantry Tam O'Shanter.
A nice used example with just a couple of moth nips and good nap to the material. Inside liner is slightly stained from used with clear maker, size and date stamps. The HLI cap badge has all the appearance of silver casting but cannot be 100% sure. Has had a slider version at some point in its life as seen by the verdigris left to the back. read more

Rare WW2 German Matching Numbers K98 Bayonet and Leather Frog. Letter Code '' i '' Elite Diamant.
The blade has close to all its blueing with loss to the tip area from being taken out of the scabbard over time and some slight spotting to the blued finish. One side of the blade has a serial number 4767, matching to the scabbard, and the rare latter code '' i '' to the other, used for one years in 1941 by the firm Elite Diamant, again matching to the scabbard.
