The back is marked to the Leningrad mint and is a type produced in the late 1950's with the handle of the hammer on top of the sickle. WW1 RGA Boxed British War Medal. Death in India. 1915. Only Entitlement.
A/BDR Jesse Gander died in India on the 28/12/1915, he was from Sussex. The medal is in very nice condition as is the ribbon, its found in its period medal box and the envelope that was sent to the relatives of Gander. Also comes with its Record Office memorial certificate signed by a Lieut Colonel. read more
