German Fire Brigade M34 Type Helmet.
M34 type designed helmet as used by the German fire brigade from the late 50' and into the 80's, ive even seen these recently being used in the Ukraine. The aluminium shell retains most of its luminous paint finish and the shell is dent free. Matching Numbers K98 Bayonet , Horster 1940.
A very good example with the clearly marked and dated 40 blade having over 95% of its factory finish. Most of the wear being close to the tip from the scabbard inner throat and a slight ''kink'' to the very tip of the blade, dont think you will see this in the photos! Early Pre War NCO Shoulder Straps, Pattern M36/40.
A well used matching pair of early boards with pointed ends. At one point the chain stitched numbers where removed for future use due to new regulations. Condition i would rate at very good with just a couple of tiny moth nips to the underneath. read more
WW2 German Wehrpass. Inf-Reg.519, Iron Cross, Silver Wound.
Johann was a trained pioneer who served with Infantry Regiment 519 on the Eastern front from Sept to Dec when he was severely wounded having his left leg blown off and repatriated to Germany and discharge from military service on the 20/4/44. In nice condition with a large outer frame and close to 100% of its period finish to the iron center. Frame is tight, no ring stamp, no ribbon and plenty of patina! read more
1941 Dated Prismatic Compass and Personal Items, Caerphilly Veteran, Normandy.
Purchased this little group last week from a family member, items belonged to his father who according to him landed in Normandy fighting through Europe. The compass is 1941 dated, most of its black finish intact, dial swivels and there is an air bubble to the inside.
