WW2 RAF Boxed Burma Star Medal Group.
Never been mounted still held in there period paper bags and stored in the original postal box. As expected medals are in very nice condition as is the entitlement slip. The Air Ministry box has the name taken off but inside can be found his name and rank on a paper slip. read more
WW1 Cased Binoculars.
Binoculars are in nice used condition with sharp focus and clear viewing, slight verdigris to the inside lenses. Leather case is complete. Marked France to central arm. These would make a perfect display with a British WW1 collection as British forces where short of optics at the beginning of the war and had to purchase any stocks available , France being the main focus when purchasing such. An interesting letter wrote a month after what is called the ''Great Papago Escape'' when 25 POW's tunneled out of the camp near Phoenix Arizona. Most prisoners at the camp where U.Boat crewmen. read more

British Paratroopers Cloth Insignia, Pegasus and Wings, on Sleeves.
This set a friend of mine pulled out of a Cardiff house last weekend. It would appear the sleeves of a BD have been cut off the uniform with the insignia still attached, only the top titles are missing. The insignia does have that ''embedded'' quality and i have no doubt that they are period applied the wing having a padded feel from the back of the sleeve material. WW1 German P.08 Luger Holster. 1916. Cardiff.
The holster has supple leather with no weakness, stitching is tight, inside leather strap to lift the pistol has gone. The back has what looks like German style initials scratched to the leather. Inside has a clear 1916 date and makers details with what looks like the British soldiers name and number in pencil that picked this up during his time in Europe .
