Hitler Youth Marching Drum. Sonor.
A very nice conditioned HJ drum with both ''skins'' intact. The paint work rates at over 90% complete with the usual chips and wear patterns from use and age. The drum has all its steel tightening posts with square ends and the brass body has never been polished, its also maker marked to the firm Sonor, a well know firm who produced HJ musical instruments. Imperial German 2nd Class Iron Cross. MM/FR.
A nice example with the iron center having 100% of its factory finish. The tight two piece frame has turned nearly black from patina. Ring is stamped ''fr'' and the ribbon is somewhat odd but appears period. read more

WW1 German Document, Photos and Field Post Grouping.
A large set of documents to one soldier including his Soldbuch, Militarpass, Shooting Book, 1914 dated Catholic Prayer Book, thirteen photo postcards all being annotated and over 30 pieces of his field post. He joined Infantry Regiment 69 in 1890 ending up in 1916 2nd Landsturm Infantry Regiment ''Van Horn''. His field post was mostly sent out from Belgium, 1915/16. 5 X 1916 Dated Humorous British Military Themed Post Cards. Egypt.
Well at the time, over 100 years ago, this type of card i presume was found humorous, even the back of the cards are such marked. Anyway i cant change ''the way we where'' and neither can anyone else. If your into history and want examples of the type of cards that where sent home by our troops then fair enough.
