Nice little group that belonged to a Cpl Tomlin who served in Burma with the 36th Division. The documents include his well worn Pay book, his release book and two postwar books including the 36th Div history and Old Comrades hard back booklet with Tomlins name printed inside. This example is in very nice condition with the blued blade having close to 100% finish as are all metal fittings. The grips have no damage. The steel scabbard has all its finish and the slightest of ''bleed'' coming through. The early 1938 dated frog is in supple condition with tight stitching.

Well this is slightly larger than a postcard being a very nice studio portrait of a newly decorated Bavarian soldier with his wife.
