French Officers M26 Combat Helmet.
In very nice clean condition with id say over 99% of its original finish intact, just the slightest of rust bleed to certain areas, shell is free from any knocks. Front infantry badge has been drilled to add the two stars for i belive a unit Brigadier. The inside has a nice clean supple liner that is dated 58. The leather officers braided chinstrap again in nice supple condition.
Control Commision Germany Officers Visor Cap.
In very nice condition with only two moth nips to the top of the material on one side of the cap under the piping. The CCG badge is a very nice example with nice patina, side buttons are bronze versions. The cap is made by Moss Bros , the inside has had use and the leather sweat band has come adrift, around 3 inches in length, this cannot be seen when unless pulled.
Experimental/Trails Pattern Bundeswehr Paratrooper
An example of one of the short run of BW para helmets tested during the 1950's. As with quite a few of these the condition would appear to be lightly used with nearly 100% of its light blue/grey finish intact. The inside leather is supple bit has a tear to the back, no markings . Chinstrap bolts are all present and tight but im afraid to say that the leather chinstrap has had its fastening popper removed, cut off and the buckle end has been repaired. Damb pity about the damage but this still have quite a scarse helmet to find.
Webley Black Leather Pistol Rig, RUC Issue?
Nice leather rig which includes the leather snake buckle belt, open top pistol holster and ammo pouch. The holster and pouch appear to be close to the early 14 pattern but has some diffrences, what i find interesting are the date stamps to both holster, pouch and belt, they are dated from the 1950's and made by the same London firm. All components are in very nice supple condition. Im pressuming this would have been issued to a Police unit and would make a nice display item for an ''Irish troubles'' display or collection.
RAF Helicopter Flying Helmet and Carry Bag.
Recent purchase from an ex RAF helicopter crewman is this very nice pilots helmet, condition is very good indeed with no damage, cracks etc. Both shields are also very clean. Only the slightest sprinkle of dust too certain areas. This example comes with its original carry bag. I cannot find any designation label to the inside but i have not gone routing for it.
East German DDR M56, Second Model, Steel Liner Fra
Perhaps in unissed condition, but lets say its not been on someones ''bonce'' for long. The outer factory finish is nearly 100% complete but with a couple of scratches from storage, rough finish intact, The pins are tight. The liner has that blond colour with just a tiny discolouring around the front edge, the leather chinstrap is supple and complete. Very nice unissued liner string tied to one of the liner tounges. This is what i call the second pattern as it has the ''Y'' type chinstraps but the WW2 pattern liner with steel band before plastic fiitings came into use.The helmet shell is tamped a size II and has a date stamp 63. So its nice to find a second pattern and one in such nice condition.
Russian SVT-40 Bayonet.
In nice condition with clear markings to the blued blade, no pitting the metal handle parts and top press button in working order. The cross guard is numberd having the same number stamped to each wooded grip, one knock to the wood. Metal scabbard with nice blueing and without damage. FOR SALE TO OVER 18's AND UK ONLY!
1942 Dated ''Fort Capuzzo'' Souvenir Italian Water
This Italian cup, going by the date and the word ''Fort'' would suggest that its a British souvenir of the final battle that captured the fort during the second battle of El Alamein in 1942. The details are stamped to the underside. The initials ''BA'' are chiseled to one side, perhaps the original Italian owner. Its a nice African souvenir.
German Army, 5th Company ,Inf-Regiment-29, Bone So
Made from the shoulder bone of a cow this souvenir was given to a member of Infantry Regiment 29 and signed by his fellow comrades. Someone scratched to the last two numbers from the date on the back, i pressume trying to fool someone into beliving this dates from WW2 but i belive it was given in the 1950's. Wax seal has an Imperial style eagle impressed front and back.
