Third Pattern, B2, Commando Dagger.
In nice condition with its period scabbard. The grip has a number 4 to the top near the pommel. Scabbard has lost its top elastic and there is loose stitching to the top area were the pommel sits. For some reason this example has been painted black all over except the blade point area, appears this lack of paint is were the dagger was pushed into something to hold it when the paint was added. Why someone would paint the dagger black is anyones guess but it has been suggested to me that this might have been done at unit level. NOT FOR SALE TO UNDER 18's , OVERSEAS CLIENTS WITH THERE OWN CUSTOMS REGULATIONS PURCHASE AT THERE OWN RISK, PAYPAL FRIENDS AND BANK TRANSFER WILL BE THE ONLY METHOD OF PAYMENT, FULL TRACKING DETAILS WILL BE FORWARDED WHEN ITEM POSTED.
British Middle East Commando Knuckle Dagger.
An original example thats in very good condition, no cracks to the brass knuckle bow and minimal knocking to the body, the blade is full length with no pitting but has stained from age. This one is the rarer version with a stamp to the handle being a broad arrow with the letters ''M'' and ''E'' either side. Sorry but this one didnt come with a leather scabbard.
Robbins Dudley Push Dagger.
Neat example of the famous Robbins Push Dagger as used in the trenches of WW1. This is a well used example with plenty of patina. The aluminium handle has no chips or ''dinks'' and the bottom has the Robbins name stamped into it. The steel guard is complet without damage. The blade has some staining and at some point has been reground, this is not new as there is patina to the front blade area. This is not suprising considering the use of such a weapon. Anyway this period used example is priced accordingly and much cheaper than those found on the open market.
Third Pattern Commando Dagger.
This is an untouched example with its original scabbard. The bronze handle still has a good amount of period finish, its marked with a number 3 to the pommel area, top nut has never been tampered with. The blade is a hand forged example and retains most of its dark finish, it has its original tip and has not been sharpened. The leather scabbard is supple and has lost its ''wings'', the top securing elastic has broken but whats nice is the hole to the top leather area for what looks like securing with a button, perhaps for the trouser leg. FOR SALE TO OVER 18's AND UK ONLY.
