British WW2 Webbed Shower Bag.
Something for everyone after a hard day in the field, well if your an officer maybe . Nice quirky item that i do not see come on the marked that often, condition is very good with the shower head being removable, no holes or fraying to the material and rope handle in strong condition. Yes i pressume its still usable but its too cold outside for me to try it out.
British Officers Private Purchase Map Case, Airbor
It would appear this example has had little service wear, condition is ''Tip Top''. The inside still retains its Newport retail label, all poppers are working and both plastic sleeves are clear. The rear leather ''Y'' strap is complete and the case still has its original cross strap present. Inside is found a short letter from the son of the veteran stating case was purchased by his father. You might remember the large grouping of items i recently listed belonging to Major Brooks, this case belonged to his father.
British Military Leather Attache Case with ID.
Nice to find a leather attatche case with known military use and having the original ownwers details present. The case is in good condition with supple body, one small row of stitching has come adrift but the case is complete and locks are in working condition, no key im afraid. The owners card to the front is for an officer in the Indian Air Formation. The officer in question is F.G.L.Phillips and another calling card has him down as an auctioneer so perhaps still part of the Phillips auction house.
British Wireless Set No.46.
In very nice condition with all its original finish and as show in the pics the interior components are complete. All top top switches are working and the webbed outer carrier is again in very nice condition. These 46 sets were initially produced for beach landings and its nice to find such a complete example. Weighs in at over 5 kilos so postage will be costly folks.
