WW2 American M1 Combat Helmet. Super Condition. Un
As mentioned this one is very close to being unissued, its close to mint. Its a front seam, swivel bale M1 with a Westinghouse liner. The paint to the shell, inside and out is very close to 100%, outside cork finish has just a couple of tiny knocks ,say the size of a match head, the colour is a nice flat green, the inside has the heat stamp which reads 1064E. Chinstrap is in perfect condition. The inside liner once again has nearly 100% of its original matt finish, the inside strapping is in perfect condition as is the leather chinstrap, various stampings to the neck area webbing, no cracks or other damage. The helmet net is a WW2 example and is in very good condition. It would be very hard indeed to upgrade this example.
French WW2 Infantry M26 Adrian Helmet.
A good all round example with nearly 90% of its original wartime finish, the colour looks green but in certain light its brown, so perhaps a pre war or at least a early war colour and the M15 front badge would also be a good indicator of early manufacture. The inside has the early black leather liner, its size marked in white to the inside 56 and has the makers name printed to the inside crown, Carpentier. The top spine is aluminium and the rivets are brass, the only issue i can find is that the leather chinstrap has been sewn at one end.
Wosteholm Royal Navy Deck Knife/Hunting Knife.
Condition is very good with no damage to the black handle, clear makers stamping to the blade , the blade has some staining but has kept its original shape. The brown leather scabbard appears to be the original and a nice sign is the way the leather has taken the handle pattern into the leather. R.Flook describes this in his fighting book as a WW2 Royal Navy deck knife, ive also seen a 1930's period sales page advertising this example as a hunting Knife, either way its a nice example. FPR SALE TO OVER 18's AND UK ONLY.
WW1 German Ersatz Bayonet, 90% Original Finish.
A super example which retains over 90% of its orignal factory green finish. Steel handle has some paint loss but has not suffered from any dents or rust, pommel button in working order, steel crossguard has some paint remaining, The blade is quite clean with some minor staining, no pitting and has a crown mark stamped to the spine near the guard. The steel scabbard has nearly all its finish remaining, no splits or loose weld but has a couple of small dents. One of the better examples ive seen in many a year.
Eickhorn Etched Luftwaffe Walking Out Bayonet.
This example is in lovely condition, the grips are strong and have no chips or other damage, the blade again in super condition with crisp etching, this Luftwaffe version is quite a scarse pattern to find and even more so on the shorter sized bayonets. Yellow Luftwaffe felt to the bayonet securing mortise. The scabbard has most of its original finish but has been rubbed quite a bit at the top from a leather frog, gone from this example. Sorry but not for sale outside the UK and to only over 18's please.
Early Numbered RAD Hewer.
Nice condition numbered RAD Hewer thats made by the firm Carl Eickhorn. The dagger has a nice undamaged chunky grips and early metal mounts. The blade has a good clear motto and clear makers mark, blade has not been sharpened, has some minimal staining, most i belive from packing grease so will clean up a treat. No chips etc. The scabbard has over 80% of its original finish remaining with all four screws present, they do not look to have been removed. Metal fittings again in original condition with some staining. Both the dagger and scabbard are marked ''Br 74''. Nice to find a rare early numbered example.
Second Pattern German ''Take down'' Gravity Knife
Second pattern German Para gravity knife, the blade is in good condition, has been sharpened but not too much, has some staining and is unmarked. The wooden handle is complete and in used condition , it has the usual knocks and dinks but has no splits or chips. The side spike is ''RB'' numbered and has the luffty eagle mark to the other side, the blade on closer inspection has a number stamped into the back tang, not seen until opening the handle. A very good example thats in used but not abused condition.
