Super Condition 1933 Dated Duisburg Tinnie.

Yep this example has survived in super condition with nearly 100% of its original gold finish to the front and copper type finish to the back. The front finish even has a darker tone added to highlight the raised features, its not patina from age. A great piece.

Large HJ Tinnie, Zeitz Werner Gerhardt Tag, 1934.

Super designed badge for an event held in 1934 for Bann 203 of the Hitler Youth. Condition is very good with most of its period finish remainimg, no knocks to the front design and the back has a good strong working pin. One of the more sizeable HJ tinnies to collect, around twice the size of a usual example.

WW1 German Hand / Pocket Warmer and Charcoal Fuel

WW1 German Hand / Pocket Warmer and Charcoal Fuel

Now here is something you dont see every day, and the condition is just smashing! The private purchase metal hand warmer is held in its original cloth bag with very nice Iron cross buttons with motto, it has only the slightest damage to a corner were the owner put the tin back when it was too hot, both poppers in working condition. Inside the metal warmer is again in super condition with its gauze charcoal container, no issues, owner has scratched his name to the outside. When i saw this item come out of a box wasi insantly drawn too it but when the original box of charcoal fuel popped onto the table , well i just had to have it. The box is quite full and the owner again has written his name on the outside. I really dont belive you will find another one of these, well not in this condition and still with the original fuel tablets. An very nice example of the sort of private purchase items sent to the front line trooper by there loving relatives during WW1.

Imperial German, M.1910, Mannschaften Kratzchen, E

Imperial German, M.1910, Mannschaften Kratzchen, E

WW1 German mutze to a member of the railway troops. Condition is issued but hardly any service life. I cannot find any damage, moth nips or tracking to the cloth body. Both cockades to the front have toned wth age, both added before the cap was factroy finished. The inside heavy , low quality tan cloth liner, again with little sevice wear and has the added bonus of an owners name tag stitched to it. Issue date 1917 and stamped ER for Eisenbahn Regiment. Very hard cap to upgrade.

Imperial German Ammunition Factory Ceramic Adverti

Imperial German Ammunition Factory Ceramic Adverti

A very nice and scrace factory advertisment being in the form of an ashtray with Germanic eagle and large 42cm artillery shell. Condition is very good with no damage. Factory details and patriotic slogans found all over the ceramic body. Interesting item.

1914 Dated German Army Bread Bag.

1914 Dated German Army Bread Bag.

Earliest dated example ive had for some time and its survived in very nice condition with just one button missing, it has a couple of minor stains but no holes or loose stitching. The middle hanging strap has a clear maker and 1914 date stamp. A quite scarce bit of WW1 kit.

Gold for Steel Iron Cross Souvenir.

Gold for Steel Iron Cross Souvenir.

A nicely cast steel representation of an Imperial Iron Cross, it measures around 5x5 inches and is in very nice condition. I belive this is the sort of item given to persons who donated there Gold valuables to the military cause during WW1.

WW1 German Camo Helmet, Battle Damaged.

WW1 German Camo Helmet, Battle Damaged.

A sweet battle field pick up being a camoufage German helmet with severe battle damage, concussion fractures. The outside finish is nearly 75% of its original brushed applied camouflage finish with black outline, were the camo finish has gone the original green factory paint can be seen, two areas of metal work showing are around both fractures, front peak and right hand side near the brow plate lug. It would appear that the explosion concussion has crushed the shell, and the two front liner retaining pins have been lost. The inside has nearly all its factory finish, it has the remains of the owners name to the rear in pencil, i cannot make out the name, its stamped ET66. The first pattern liner is still attatched to the helmet by the rear liner pin, its quite strong and supple but one pad has been torn half way thru. Sorry to see this one going as im a great fan of brushed camo finishes but ive added another helmet to the collection so needs must, im sure you will not be disappointed.

Semi Relic Other Ranks Imperial Pickelhaube. 1915.

Semi Relic Other Ranks Imperial Pickelhaube. 1915.

The helmet is in what i would call a semi relic state, the leather body has lots of surface crazing and lumps and bumps with a peak thats only held on by the two round side pins, the metal fittings are all in pretty good shape and the front eagle plate is complete with no damage or missing areas. The inside has lost its liner and there is a clear 1915 stamp to the inside. This pickelhaube recently turned up in the Cardiff area once belonging to a member of the RA who won the MM, i did see the whole grouping but was too late to purchase the complete lot , but was lucky enought to get my hands on the haube.
