WW1 Imperial German G98 Ammo Pouches.
This is as close as you can get to a matching pair of WW1 ammo pouches. Both pebbled finish in a nearly same brown colour, both have brass fittings and are of riveted construction, brass ''D'' bales to the rear are the same but one has turned. Both pouches have all there dividers intact and both are in very good condition with no damage, leather is strong and supple, and are a matching size. Both are maker marked, one is dated 1914 the other is 1915, the 15 dated pouch has a name to the inside. Sorry for the pictures but at the moment there is no light and ive taken these under a lamp.
WW1 German Imperial Belt and Buckle, Both Dated 19
Nice matching set with both the leather tab on the buckle and the leather belt being dated 1915, the brass buckle is in very good condition, some staining to the brass body, would clean up a treat if you wish, the leather tab is supple and well attatched to the buckle, its also maker marked. The leather belt has a size code of 86 and a regimental stamp 105, its also maker marked and dated 1915. A very nice example.
WW1 German Helmet.
Recently found in the loft of a house in South Wales is this very good example of a WW1 German steel lid. The outside has around 60% of its original paint finish with a good amount of light surface rust, some pitting is just started to appear thru the paint but not the metal. One small knock to the top, left hand side. The inside is in much better condition with id say over 90% of its original finish, steel liner frame is held in place with all its original liner pins, these have never been apart. As seen im afraid its lost its leather liner. Cannot make out the maker but its a size 66. A good example that with a bit of TLC would come up a treat.
Victorian Dirk, Fighting Knife.
Victorian/Edwardian Dirk thats in very good condition, the blade is clean, the metal cross guard has lost most of its gold wash as has the pommel head. The handle is in good condition, cannot make out whats its made of but no cracks etc. Matching leather scabbard is without issues.
British Trails Pattern FAL Bayonet.
Trails pattern FAL bayonet that was trailed in the late 50;s for the SLR rifle. Its has the trails code to the metal tang along the handle, X2 E1 9161 and has its original scabbard marked X1 E1. As seen in the pics this example is in un-used condition, fantastic original finish to the blade and metal work, super wood grip, one small problem is the small repair to the handle, hardly noticable. Scabbard has good finish and has webbed frog attatched, looks as if the frog has been on this example for ages. Ive seen a few on the net but not in this condition, would be very hard to upgrade this rare example. Priced according to the small repair to the handle. FOR SALE TO OVER 18's AND UK ONLY.
ITN British Mk6 Combat Helmet .
A very interesting helmet being a British MK6 combat lid thats had a coat of blue paint and an ITN sticker to the front, the rear has tape with the owners name, same name is also marked to the inside. Condition is very good with a nice finish to the outside and a nice used liner to the inside.
Osama Bin Laden Reward Matches.
Matchbook with reward details for the capture of Bin Laden in Afganistan, written in Urdu and in very good condition. These were produced when it was found that the ''Wanted'' posters first produced would vanish from the walls during the night, Managed to get a few of these from an Australian veteran.
United Nations Helmet.
UN helmet which i belive is the inner system from a Dutch M53 lid, the condition is very good with nearly all its outer blue finish, some lose under the cloth chinstrap. The three UN transfers ae in complete condition. Inside has all componets and in very nice condition, stamped details to the crown.
British Turtle MK5 Camo Helmet, 1978. Falklands.
Perfect display item for a Falklands collection , this one is in used condition with some minor paint loss to the body, the camo netting and material appear to have allways been on this helmet, its dated 1978 to the inside liner which would fit in nicely to a lid being worn by a British soldier during the Falklands campaign.
