1939 Civilian Gas Mask and Up Market Carry Box. Mi

Both the box and gas mask are in very nice, i would say close to unissued condition, even the box carry strap is complete and strong. Named to the inside. Would make a super display piece with any Homefront collection.

Boxed ARP Sealing Outfit.

Boxed ARP Sealing Outfit.

Interesting Home Front item being a box with contents for sealing windows, doors etc. The box has suffered from bad storage but the contents are as new, one item missing, the roll of glass reinforcing kraft paper. Tins are sealed and have contents. Found this morning at my local farmers market.

WW1 German Luger Magazine Pouch and Two Magazines

WW1 German Luger Magazine Pouch and Two Magazines

Very nice condition brown leather magazine pouch for the Luger Pistol, there is a 1917 date and makers mark for a firm from Dresden on the inside flap. Both magazine found inside are WW1 examples with wooden toggles to the bottom, one is numbered, both appear to be a matching pair and both ave very strong springs, you will not be able to push them to the bottom. A very nice set for any Imperial collection.

WW1 Turkish Buckle and Belt.

WW1 Turkish Buckle and Belt.

Buckle is in very nice condition, brass body has no significant scratches and the nickle frontal plate is dent free and has sharp detail, both fixing prongs to the rear, its unmarked. The original WW1 leather belt is again in very nice condition, it has a faint date stamp, it looks like 1915. A very nice set.

Imperial German Battle Flag.

Imperial German Battle Flag.

A very nice surviving example, colours are still very strong, no moth nips and only slightly age stained, full lanyard to the top. This has no markings but the construction is correct, its the right sort of weave to the material and the printing is the correct thin and detailed type, the period repair to the bottom corner also adds to the correct period of the flag. Size is 21 x 34 inches. The flag has numerous pin holes along one side were it has been hung up over many years, recently found in an old canteen of an Austrian heavy haulage firm thats been cleaned out by a friend of mine, same place as the very rare WW2 German Panzer trailer was seen on the program ''combat dealers''.

WW1 German Jack Boots.

WW1 German Jack Boots.

These have the side seam running down each boot, i belive they are the 1866 pattern used thru WW1 and into the 1920's by German military forces. The boots are in very nice supple condition, they will need a good polish and have a small period repair, the stepped heels are original as are the soles including the hob nails, the boot pulls are also in good condition. These have in the past been used for a mannequin having a hole thru the sole of one boot, Measures nearly 11 inches from heel to toe. Still a very nice displayable item.

Late War German Water Bottle. 1915 Pattern.

Late War German Water Bottle. 1915 Pattern.

Super condition late war water bottle , as seen in the pics there is nothing missing, Cover has no loose stitching , faded date and makers to the rear, The cork stopper still attatched to ist canvas strap and retaining metal hanger. Whats an extra bonus is the original tie cord going thru the eyelets on the cover, usually missing or replaced. I have not removed the cover to take pictures of the enamel water bottle itself, this has never been apart , thought id leave it as is, from what i can see it looks like a dull green enamel. A hard to find example in this condition. ON HOLD FOR PETE.

WW1 German Gas Mask and Cannister.

WW1 German Gas Mask and Cannister.

The mask is in very supple condition, no cracks or ''hard'' areas, straps are still strong and both lenses are clear. The bottom metal filter has nearly all its finish intact with stamped details and previous owners name, ther is a small amount of rust coming thru the top edge only. The canister has lost most of its finish but is strong with no knocks or dinks, inside top still has its original set of spare lenses, the strap has im afraid seen better days but nice to find an original example even though its broken in several places.
