WW2 German Chaplins Stole
Very nice and quite rare German wartime chaplins stole, its in good condition but has a number of areas were the stitching holding the front and back material coming loose, the two wnd swastica are in heavy bullion thread and as seen from the pictures provided some of this is again loose the same with the central cross which when worn would be around the chaplins neck. If your into german ''hiemat werk'', or traditional design used by the Third Reich then you will notice the motifs found on the blue backing of this stole. So all in all a rare and interesting item of Third Reich memrobilia. It measures around 95 inches long. Was priced at £140
Waffen SS Fez.
Red fez that has survived in very nice condition, no moth holes but just a couple of nips, nap to the material is in very good order, the inside has an area of the lining coming adrift, its dated 1940 by the looks of it, the tassels are again in very nice condition and still stitched to the top of the cap. The front has some change to the nap were the insignia once was, whats nice is to see some remaining machine stitch from were the original insgnia was stitched in the factory. When i purchased this cap i removed a skull and eagle whch were cheap copies and lighlty stitched to the front. A nice original Waffen SS fez in need of restoration. The item is priced accordingly. Was priced at £220
British Vetrans Leather Wallet
Small German made wallet that a British soldier picked up during his tome in Europe and added a couple of German badges to the front, condition of the wallet is good, the two German eagles have lost there wings over the years, the two 8 numbers are intact. Inside is a number od wartime tram/rail tickets, i pressume the vet used the local transport at some time during his stay and they would have used up the Wartime tickets just after the end of WW2. A nice and simple item of personal kit.
British WW1 Field Service Writing Kit Tin.
Here is something that we do not see everyday, in fact its the first time for me. A very rare box , titled to the front, Writing Kit, For Field use Only. Issued to front line British troops who were fighting in the trenches of Europe during WW1. Dated 1914 with goverment stores number and a really nice image of a British ''Tommy'' writing a letter home. The box is in fantastic condition given that its nearly 100 years old. Lid still connected to the body, inside still has its gold finish. Im afarid the contents have gone. A really nice example of a very rare item of British WW1 personal kit.
WW2 RAF China Mug.
Large china mug as used by RAF members during WW2 in canteens etc, this one is in very good condition with no damage, it has a diffrent makers stamp the the bottom than the one i previously posted. Large size for that needed cup of tea. If you fancy both mugs posted then contact me for a better price!!!
WW1 British Trench Watch
A well used 1916 dated trench watch as used in the trenches of WW1. Tis one has a european 925 mark to the inside with its london import stamp and 1916 date stamp. The inside face numbers and hands have a thick illuminous paint as expected. As mentioned this one has seen use, body has a couple of very small knocks to the back and the screen is scratched but looks a lot better than the pictures show. Ive managed to get this one to work and so far it runs for 20 hours at a time, im no watch maker , the winder will only need a couple of turns in a clockwise direction to wind the watch up. If this watch was perfect id be asking more for it, it works and will display perfectly with any ww1 collection and dont forget the 1916 date stamp, perhaps on of many that were imported to use by officers and men in France.
