Boxed 1944 Pattern Folding Saw.
First time ive seen a 44 pattern folding saw and this one is still in its stores box. The canvas carry pouch is maker marked and dated 1944, the box is dated Sept 45. All the contents are present inside the pouch. Id be guessing but there cannot be many of these to be found.
British WW2 Headset and Chest Microphone.
Nice original set as used by many wartime personnel, ATS,ARP, RAF etc. Condition is very good and complete, couple of small white paint spots, would clean up with a wipe. Set includes the original jack. This set has only one headphone reciver and was made as such.
WW2 British Infrared Monocular, TABBY, Mk1 and Car
As used by allied special forces, landing parties etc this example is in very good condition. The instrument has its original drab covering and brown drab paint to both ends, both have numerous stamps and markings. Top focus ring moves up and down and has no damage, side button works, it still has its original leather carry strap. The leather case is again in very good condition with relative markings stamped in ink to the top, carry strap is complete and in good order. Heres a chance to add a quite rare item to your special forces collection. May i add that the set weighs in at over two and a half kilos so postage will be more than normal costs.
WW2 British Tank Map Box.
Very scarse box of maps to go with all British Tank equipment. The Leatherette type box which measures around 20x15x15 inches, contains a number of maps of of South Britian, dated 1941. Index shows that two types of map are contained in the box. 6 large scale and 89 smaller scale maps with 1 larger version of Salisbury plain. Thru the years a number of these maps have vanished, 5 large ones and numbers 93 to 135 of the small ones and the Salisbury plain remain, all in very good if un-used condition. These boxes do not turn up that often even with early British training maps and would be a great addition to any Tankers collection. Item weighs in at around 3 kilos so please expect a higher postage cost, or i can bring with me to the Stoneligh fair at the end of January.
WW1 Trench Periscope And Webbed Case.
WW1 produced ''Trenscope'' made by the British firm of Negretti & Zambra of London, i belive the code dates this one to 1915, now the bad news, both lenses are missing, mirrors are intact and the body has no dents and id say 96% of its original matt green finish, this is well worth the effort to re-condition. The good news is that this scope comes with its rare webbed carry sleeve thats in great condition, one tear that measures around an inch, material in strong condition, all straps present and a good working clouser snap. This example is well worth the effort and priced accordingly.
British Wartime Ross No6 Mk1 Binoculars
Quite a rare issued set of binoculars by the Ross firm. These No6 were apparently produced for female members of anti-aircraft units, i belive less than 5000 were produced. This set is in used condition, the broad arrows have been filed away for some reason, they focus well but one lens is chipped, this does not hinder them being used. With this set comes a field made canvas carry case made from the sort of matrial as found on officers camp equipment, chairs, wash basins etc. Not a bad example and as mentioned quite a scarse set. Priced accordingly with the chipped lens.
Pattern 1903 Greatcoat Carrier.
Mark 2 greatcoat carrier that was part of the pattern 1903 equipment, this is in very good, looks in un-issued condition, maker marked Wilson-Browne and sons, date to me looks like 1910, also broad arrow marked. As mentioned this one is in super condition with no issues.
