Rare Bundes Trails Fallschirmjager Helmet.
This is the scarse trails pattern para helmet produced from 1955 til 67 for the postwar german forces, do not confuse this one with the German special forces GSG9 version. Condition is very good indeed, paint is 99% to inside and out, the outside has one small lnock but does not detract from overall appearence. The liner again in very good condition, no damage just some slight sweat stainng to the brow area, straps are strong and working, all liner bolts are strong and tight. These were produced in limited quantaties. Just added a couple of WW2 german camos to my collection so this one needs a new home. ON HOLD FOR JOHN,
First Iraq War, DESERT STORM, Vet Bring Back Helme
Small vetrans bring back items from the first Iraq war,''Desert Storm'', including helmet, flag, medal and unissued ID card. The helmet has painted around the outside all the major battles fought by the vetran and his units tactical sign, condition of the lid is very good with slight battle damage to the rear, original Iraq owners name to the inside crown. The flag is the usual nylon type with no holes, small Iraq medal and unissued ID card also came with the helmet. The vetran who brought the items back was a colour sergent in the Coldstream Guards and has sadly passed away recently, his name will be given to the new owner of this grouping.
USAF Type B2 Sheepskin Cap
An original example of an American B2 sheepskin cap, as used by American WW2 Bomber and ground crew. The cap is in very good condition, no holes no moth and the sheepskin body is strong with no issues exept the slight scuffing as seen in the photos. Makers lable dates this one to 1943. A sound example and one that doesnt turn up here in the U.K. very often. THIS ITEM HAS BEEN REDUCED IN PRICE, WAS £150
1939 Dated Royal Engineers Helmet.
This early dated helmet, 1939 dated lid with a 1938 dated liner, has a very nice RE flash painted to the front. The shell has a very good amount of its original field green paint remaining, id say around 80%, whilst the inside has nearly all its earlier brown finish and as expected from a 38 dated liner, the early top pad. The chinstrap is complete but i have not removed from the peak as it looks to have been there for a number of years and do not wish to damage it. Owners initials are scratched to the inside.
British WW2 National Fire Service Helmet, 1938.
Very nice example of a wartime fire service helmet. The shell has had at least 2 coats of paint, the bottom layer being a black colour, then a green over coat for the fire service, the inner green is a silker colour than the outside so i belive a 3rd matt coat was added to the outer shell, or is this matt tone from wear and time. The super condition liner is dated 1938. Front decal is 98% complete.
WW2 Australian ANZAC Slouch Hat With Div Sign
A very good example of a very scarce ANZAC slouch which is dated 1942 and maker marked ''N.121, WOOL FEL. The body of the cap is in very good condition, it has no moth holes or tracking, just minimal usage marks, the sweatband is complete but in used condition, loose from body in a couple of places, no chinstrap. Very nice div patch machine sewn to the side, it had at one time a badge going thru this patch. A very good example and a rare one at that.
