Third Pattern Commando Dagger.
Blade has most of its dark finish intact with the factory grain still visible. At one point its been dropped and deforming just the very tip of the blade, easy fix folks. WW1 French M15 Adrian Helmet.
This second pattern M15, side skirt rivets, has had a nice coat of hand brushed dark coat painted over the factory pale blue finish even to the inside skirt, pale blue can be seen in certain chipped areas. Nice vintage knife with a sound coffin handle. Blade has some staining and slight pitting with a sharpened edge. Maker and title to the side is clear. Nice early knife and the type exported to the frontier states of America. read more
