Badge survives with close to 100% of its period finish and sharp detail. Rear has its period hardware. I would suggest this badge has had the swastika professionally removed perhaps at the factory corresponding to the 1957 pattern of postwar medals used by veterans. read more

WW1 Flechette Letter Opener Souvenir.
Nice souvenir using a bullet case and spent heads for the handle and what appears to a aerial Flechette for a blade. The front end of the flechette slipped inside the bullet cartridge and the rear having been filed down to form a point. read more

Nice little group of items belonging to a military chaplin. Beret is nice and clean with an officers cap badge, badge has been stiffened at the back using what looks like a wooden handle used in ice lollipops of the time. Nice souvenir with the name of the French Village where the ''Second battle of Bapaume'' took place in 1918 by the British IV Corps and the New Zealand Division. Such examples would have been for sale in the area of certain battlefields too family members who visited after the end of WW1 to see where there loved ones had fallen. read more
