Early pattern tunic worn by the AFS at the beginning of WW2 before the service became the NFS. The tunic is in good condition with all buttons and its top collar hook but the material has suffered from moth graze and a couple of moth nips from poor storage. This is a small grouping of items that where found during a recent house clearance in the London area. The framed death plaque is named to a Leonard Arthur Rayner who as a member of the 2nd Bat Honourable Artillery Company killed in Belgium in 1917 aged 30.
