1944 Dated Soldiers New Testament with 1946 Dated German Written Sentiment.

A 1944 dated YMCA soldiers New Testament ,complete but with a corner fold, that in 1946 received a hand written sentiment written in German to the inside cover. I think the sentiment is a quote from some Biblical text, signed by the German on the bottom. Interesting piece of social history considering the non fraternization laws in occupied Germany at this point.  read more

In very nice used condition with clear sharp camo color and little use. Please be aware this is a used example so you might well find something ive missed but can tell you no holes, rips, frays etc. I believe all buttons present and a nice working zip. In nice used condition with bright camo color and the owners name sewn into the top inside pocket as shown in the photos. This one comes with its period hood also named to the same soldier. Please be aware that this is a used example and i do try my best to describe. What i can say there are no major defects, no holes, rips etc. The hood also has its NSA label.
