Two complete letters sent home by a RAMC doctor to his mother in 1901 from Stationary Hospital Pietoria near Commando Nek. These are personal letters but do give a sense of life at the time with some action, life in the hospital, boredom, love rivals etc and as expected from such letters. Swedish M/1940 Lahti Pistol Holster and Tools.
A well used leather holster with a Swedish three crown stamp to the front flap above the closing strap. All stitching is tight and the leather supple. Inside can be found the cleaning rod and loading tool. Nice lightly used MK6 with not many scuffs to the outer rough factory finish, all three black chinstrap outer screws appear to have not been tampered with, one rubber liner rivet missing to the back. British WW1, Brodie, MK1 Steel Helmet. Named.
This WW1 helmet has a good amount of its green rough finish intact, lets say at least 60% with id say at least 75 green paint mixed in with some surface rust where the paint at some point has gone down to the steel. Outer rim fits perfectly but has had a couple of knocks during its life.
