In nice condition with the front having a very nice hand painted design, the rear has what i presume is the artists details, slight knocks to the paint on the back corners.

The badge has close to 100% frosting and burnished highlights with its period ''Mayer'' hardware to the rear. No markings to the badge. Im really not one for using the word ''mint'' but this example must be close even with the minimal wear. The front has close to 100% of its period factory finish front and back. The rear has its period ''Scholze'' ball hinge pin and typical catch with the top hook. Clear ''AS'' makers mark above the pin for the firm Scholze. This item would be close to impossible to upgrade. read more
WW1 British ''Gift Box'' Clasp Knife.
Believed to be packed in some gift boxes given to troops during WW1. This example is in very nice condition with the gouged bone grips without damage and a nice copper shackle. The blades do appear to have been clean at some point making the makers details hard to read.
