WW2 British Police Steel Helmet. 1939.
The blue finish to the outer shell rates at around 50% complete with a good amount having toned down to the dark metal, the front Police stencil is close to 95% complete and bright. SA Tinne/ Event Badge. Wehrwettkampfe Dortmund, 1938.
These examples do not turn up with such good finish usually , paint wear being a factor. This example id say has close to 100% of the paint remaining to the design. The rear has its period fixing pin and makers details. This one has a slight kink to the body, dont forget its plastic and might well have been bent during production. read more

1941 Dated British Net and Burlap Camo Home Guard MKII Steel Helmet.
A lovely example with the shell having nearly 100% rough finish to the outer shell under the net. The net has been on this example for many years and has that flat appearance and wear especially underneath where the net goes under the rim. The burlap also appears to have been period added. The inner shell again with 100% of its factory finish with a clear 1941 and BMB makers stamp. The liner sy... read more
1943 U.S War Aid British Officers Royal Artillery Battle Dress.
In very nice condition with no moth holes but some minimal moth tracking. Both insigna match not only in material, felt, but also in fading so in my opinion period applied. This officers BD has gone through the usual tailoring expected with an open neck example. Nice clear labels to the inside and a clear 1943 date. read more
