WW1 R.M.L.I. Naval Long Service Medal Group.
A well used set belonging to ...CH-20105-PTE-T.J.HEWETT who served in the R.M.L.I. during WW1. All medals are clearly stamped with Hewett's full details. As a side note Hewett was born and enlisted in London aged of 17 in 1915, he also served during WW2 as well. read more

Front Seam, Fixed Bale, M1 Steel Combat Helmet with Cross of Lorraine Liner
Lets start with the Firestone marked liner as in my opinion its the best bit. It would all seem to correspond to a late 43 or early 44 date of manufacture with steel coated liner washers, trimmed neck suspension band, nape strap without buckle,flat khaki liner tightening lace and the light khaki strapping. In very nice condition with supple leather body, strong front fastening strap, tight stitching, complete inner pocket for the tool and a worn makers stamp and date found to the inside of the flap. At some point one back strap has been replaced. read more

WW2 German West Wall Medal.
Late war manufactured example stamped in zinc. The Factory finish i would rate at close to 100% complete, scarce for zinc west walls. The detail is sharp, ribbon is its period example. read more
Russian Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Type 6. 1950's.
In super condition with close to 100% of its factory finish and very clean bright undamged enamel. The back is marked to the Leningrad mint and is a type produced in the late 1950's with the handle of the hammer on top of the sickle. WW1 RGA Boxed British War Medal. Death in India. 1915. Only Entitlement.
A/BDR Jesse Gander died in India on the 28/12/1915, he was from Sussex. The medal is in very nice condition as is the ribbon, its found in its period medal box and the envelope that was sent to the relatives of Gander. Also comes with its Record Office memorial certificate signed by a Lieut Colonel. read more
