WW2 German Water Bottle.
This example is in much better condition than the previous one ive listed but still has some issues. The cloth body has minimal moth tracking and some staining, with minor loose stitching, one side button has perished and i have not tried to open the others. In very nice condition with both arms being badged, inside the soldier has in marked in marked his full name, number and blood type. The inside label has full clear details on size and going by the DC2CESL code i would date this example to 2007, give or take a year. read more

Wooden box is in good condition with both opening sides well riveted to the body in the center. Cloth cover is complete with wear to a certain amount around the sides, one fastening button is missing the other in working condition. British WW1 Trench Gas Rattle.
In very good condition with the metal taking on an overall dark patina and pitting. the wood has survived intact with only a split the central plank. The rattle works when used and is in solid condition. I cannot find any markings but these types are usually dated 1918 as its the last pattern produced having to use the metal as the previous patterns were found to warp in trench conditions. read more
