Both medals are made out to...M2-265093, Pte-J.R.NEEDHAM. A.S.C. This soldier was killed 9/11/18, just a couple of days before the armistice and is buried at St.Sever cemetery, Rouen. read more
WW1 British Binoculars. Ross (Mill Hill) 1917.
A nice scarce set of 1917 dated binoculars by the firm Ross that are in nice untouched condition with leather neck strap. The leather body has nice wear and patina from use, no damage, no shrinkage. Straight out of a local Cardiff house clearance is this fire axe and its scarce webbed carrier. The axe is in very nice condition with clear markings to the blade and an undamaged rubber handle with clear stamped details. In very nice condition with all three medals in very nice condition with the Iron Cross having all its black factory finish to the iron center and the Faithfull Service having a nice amount of its silver frosting and burnished highlights. RAF Peronalised Navigators Wing.
Recently found in a local house clearance is this interesting used navigators wing thats been personalised by being stitched onto a red backing and attached by pins to a memo note. Also found were some photos and empty ''on active service'' envelopes that will come with the wings. read more

WW1 Air Ministry Marked Binoculars and Case.
Binoculars are a french set made by the firm L.Petit of Paris and by all appearances look like the type purchased and used by the British Forces from French stocks and used during WW1. What makes these more interesting is the Air Ministry mark so might well have been issued during WW1 as the ''AM'' stamps appear from 1918.
