German POW Mess Tin, Inf-Reg-681.
A very nice hand made mess tin made completely from scraps of aluminium and a length of brass rod as a handle. To the front is a hand etched sentiment and both top and bottom have the number 681 underneath the owners initials. Infantry Regiment 681 was part of the 333rd Infantry Division who fought in Belgium, France, Russian and finally destroyed in Romania. read more
