French Third Republic Fire Brigade Ceremonial Helmet.

A very straight and fine example of a ceremonial helmet dating from around 1874 and in the design of a ''casque de Dragon''. The brass body has a certain amount of patina as it has not been polished for many years. The only damage i can find is the weak spot to the flaming bomb from over polishing during its life.
