British Soldiers Medal and Paperwork. Security Branch Geneifa, MELF.
Small lot that i recently picked up from a local family here in Cwmbran. It would appear the soldier did a certain amount during the war as the single medal was his. The Service book has him joining the army in 1947 and being sent to North Africa as part of the RAOC Security Branch Geneifa Sub Depot. His release book is dated 1949. French M26 Steel Helmet, 1937 Dated.
This examle is in well used condition having had a brown tan coat of paint at one point. Paint to the outside is at over 90% but with scratches and scrapes over the body, front plate is missing. The liner is complete but in used condition as is the chinstrap, the liner is date stamped to the inside 1937. read more

WW2 Royal Naval Medal Group.
Out of a local house clearance this week, details of the veteran on the box as his is number. The medal ribbons have been sewn together at the top perhaps for slipping over a bar for wear at some point. read more
