Cardiff City Tramways Cromwell Helmet.
A very rare helmet being a composite Cromwell Homefront helmet issued and stamped to the Cardiff City Tramways. A zinc manufactured award that has a nice amount of its silver finish intact, lets say around 80%, with the details still strong. The rear has its period hardware and has a clear makers number 65 above the catch. read more
LDO Boxed L/11 Iron Cross Forst Class. Wilhelm Deumer.
The iron cross itself has a very nice appearance with the tight frame having turned dark from patina, the iron centre has all its period factory finish. The rear has its period hardware and a clear L/11 stamp just beneath the catch. Boxed War Merit Cross with Swords. Deschler and Sohn.
A very nice example with the cross having good finish with a certain amount of patina. The rear has its period hardware and has a clear number stamp ''1'' for the firm Deschler. The box is nice with good finish and a clear WMC representation to the front. The steel hinge to the back has come adrift from one side but the cloth hinge to the inside has prevented the lid coming adrift. read more

Outside finish to the shell i would rate at 95% with some of the usual wear found on helmets that where used in combat, this finish has a nice flat appearance from not being handled too much. The decal i would say is 75% complete having been worn down from helmet use as it matches the overall appearance of the outside shell.Liner pins are tight. A very nice example with around 95% of its period rough finish to the shell. The decal rates at close to 95% , one good knock to the tip of one wing. The liner pins are tight. The inside shell has all its flat factory finish and the liner has a very nice colour and is supple, the liner string in my opinion appears to be the period example.
