French M1885 Firefighters Helmet. Somme Village.
A well used example Paris maker marked helmet with some minor knocks to the metal body and front visor. The comb moves slightly to the back due to a loose screw thread but is solid to the front. WW1 Royal Navy Ensign White. Size 4-BDs.
A very nice vintage multi construction White Ensign. The condition is good with no major rips but the material has suffered from moth damage. The top hanging sleeve is clearly marked and one end has a good length of rope whilst the other has a metal hook. Royal Navy Petty Officers Visor Cap.
Nice clean example with just minor tracking to the top crown and maybe a tiny moth nip. The nap to the material is good, visor is tightly stitched to the body, both side buttons present as is its leather chinstrap. A very straight and fine example of a ceremonial helmet dating from around 1874 and in the design of a ''casque de Dragon''. The brass body has a certain amount of patina as it has not been polished for many years. The only damage i can find is the weak spot to the flaming bomb from over polishing during its life. Gulf War Iraqi Military training poster on a Geiger counter. Condition is very good with strong color and just a couple of repairs to the edging. The size is 35 x 23 inches.
