British 1876 Pattern '' Bayonet Common Long'' Socket with Period Leather Frog.
Produced by the firm Enfield and dated 1885 this example is in exceptional condition, i would like to say it would be very hard to upgrade. Pay book to a Cardiff girl who on joining the ATS was sent to Germany as part of the occupation forces. Royal Artillery, 101st Heavy AA Regiment, Pay and Release Books, Burma.
Both books are named to a Donald Campbell Fraser who served with the RA in Burma, serving from 1939 till 45. Release book is in good condition with details where as his pay book does appear to be complete but is in bits from heavy use as expected been carried in the Burma conflict.
