Cutlery Handle Dirk.
This example has seen better days and im sure it would clean up with a bit of time and effort. The blade is stained and has some pitting , cross guard is steel and has the same issues as the blade. The handle isnt too bad and has not suffered from knocks or dents.

3rd Pattern Commando Dagger, J.Kowill &Sons.
Post war produced 3rd pattern commando thats in good condition with full blade that has a certain amount of staining and slight surface pitting, still has a good amount of its factory grain. Cross guard and handle has a good amount of its factory finish, top area down to metal as is the nut. Bottom of the handle has the Knowill trade marks.

A nice early example with close to 100% of its factory finish, darkened with patina to both sides, one small patch of verdigris to one side. Good length of period ribbon. read more
