White Ranked Wardens Helmet.
The shell has nearly all its white finish that has ''crazed'' all over the finish, the ''W'' to front and back are very clear but he top black stripe has worn to the crown.Inside colour to the helmet is an early army green as quite a few of these early civil defence helmets were issued from Army stock. 1941 Dated Zuckerman Fire Watchers Helmet.
Both helmet and liner are dated 1941, shell has over 80% of its period grey finish, liner is also maker marked to the firm Merrythought Ltd.
Purchased recently from the son along with a few other items. The son remembers his father being a Fire Watcher at the Swansea Gas works before joining the home guard and later serving with the RAF as a medic in Europe. read more
1903 Pattern Leather Home Guard Belt.
In very nice condition with supple leather, its dated 1940 and has clear makers details for the firm D.MASON&SON, WALSALL. Its been period shortend, size from one end to the centre of the buckle is 41 inches.

37 Pattern Webley Holster and Ammo Pouch.
A matching pair having been ''blancoed'', front and sides, at the same time. Condition is very good with the holster being dated 43 and the ammo pouch 41, both made by the firm MECo.

M34 Square Dip Luftschutz Steel Helmet.
Condition is very good with over 90% of its dark blue factory finish remaining, one small ''ding'' to the rear only.Ive not tried to clean and belive a light wipe with a damp cloth would bring up the finish The liner pins are tight. The digital camo cover has bright colour with only two areas of damage around the front liner bolts only, the green elastic strap being held in place by a safety pin to the rear. Inj nice condition but has a certain amount of moth damage to the diced wool band, no moth the the black body. The leather trim is in very nice condition as is the inner lining, rear has its full tail. Cap badge and red felt backing are in very nice condition. read more
