1940 Dated NFS Steel Helmet. District 24, Worcester.

Helmet has over 90% of its period factory finish to the outside shell with no dents etc just the usual scrapes etc from time and use. The two front decals are close to 100% complete with sharp clear details. Inside shell has lost most of the finish to the inside crown area, good finish to the outside with the users ID number. WW2 German POW Personalised Wooden Tobacco Box Russia.

Ive had this in my collection for a number of years as its one of the best POW items ive come across for a long time. The box is covered with very nice rendered carvings depicting his surroundings as a POW in a Russian camp with his monogram to the lid and what i believe is his and his wife's initials to the inside. A very nice match safe made during the Napoleonic war by a French artisan prisoner from dyed straw with a mutton bone bottom striker. Condition is very good with slight loss of straw to the top of the lid. Super item if you ask me!  read more

British WW1 MK VIII Marching Compass, Case and Lanyard. 1917.

A very nice Verner's type compass made by the firm Barnes & Morris and dated 1917. The brass body has over 80% of its period black finish with a clear and working ''dry'' dial inner. This example comes with its nice leather carry case and a period lanyard attached to the compass. Case has the original owners name to the inside flap.  read more
