WW1 Bulldog Trench Art Shell Case. Captain C.E.Loseby, 1st Lancashire Fusiliers, Politician and Member of Parliment.
A really interesting WW1 chiseled pattern Bulldog shell case named to Captain C.E.LOSEBY of the 1st Lancashire Fusiliers, August 1916. It would appear that Loseby after the war became a member of Parliament for Bradford East. Captain Loseby went to France in 1914 and was gassed at Ypres in May 1915 , perhaps this shell case was a presentation souvenir relating to this episode. I also found ment... read more
