John Jones was born in Llandrindod Wells in 1913. He was evacuated from North Africa with acute shell shock starting to draw the ''two Types during this time, later being assigned to the mobile newspaper unit in Italy. West German Fighting Knife. KCB-77.

German made fighting knife perhaps made by the Eickhorn firm towards the end of its factory production. This is a variant without wire cutter hole to the blade and the bottom of the scabbard.
