Nice solid relic found in a barn a number of years back in France. This example has a solid shell with close to 35% of its period finish to certain areas. The inside liner system has gone but there is a very nice braided chinstrap present , usually used by officers. In very nice condition with no moth nips, nap to the material is a bit dirty from use. Inside liner is complete, a bit stained from use and a very faint square printed label to the center, most probably for a Glasgow maker. read more
