A well used but complete and supple leather liner without its frame. As seen its taken on a dark color with its top edge even darker from use, its supple and with only minor damage only, one cut to the edge, purposely done for some reason and done some time ago going by the patina around the area. Named WW1 Trench Art Shell Case Ashtray. Charleroi Belgium. Iron Cross Motif.

1917 dated German shell case that has been turned into a WW1 souvenir ashtray with an iron cross motif, the name of the Belgium town ''Charleroi'' and the owners name. This example is quite crude in its manufacture with the inside bars i presume to hold a match striker or safe.  read more

WW2 British Helmet Net.

This dark brown version is in nice condition with one or two frays to the chord only. This one does not have the edge pull chord to pull tight the net under the helmet brim. Last photo shows that they do fit over WW2 Tommy lids. One of a few hundred, green and brown, nets that a mate of mine managed to pull out of Norway many years back.  read more

Mounted GSM, Northern Ireland, and UN Medal Pair. Coldstream Guards.

Im sorry to say that the named and regimental marked GSM is a replacement and marked so. The set is obviously mounted for the soldier to wear as he has had his medal lost, stolen or sold and he wanted a replacement. The soldiers full details are stamped around the rim of the medal with the word ''Duplicate'' at the end. I would class the whole set as in good condition.  read more

Vintage Pack Military Semaphore Instruction Cards.

29 cards in total showing instruction on how to learn semaphore and still held in part of its period paper outer carton. Card condition is good with a couple having some staining, as mentioned the outer cover is only half present. Also found inside is a double page instruction booklet. I would myself date these from the WW1 period.  read more

1944 Dated Detector Vapour Pocket MK2 Tin.

This empty tin box has some corrosion/rust bleed to the top of the lis but details can still be made out and i would say a very nice amount of its mustard finish. The rest of the outer has survived in better condition. The inside is much better with clear details to the inside lid and still having the horse hair lining to the compartments. Scarce tin even in this condition!  read more

This is a full box of Ibsen razor blades. Box has 10 boxes, each containing 10 razor blade grease proof packets with two blades inside each packet. These i would date to at least WW2 and would be perfect with any WW2 German personal items display.  read more

In very nice condition measuring around 38 inches in length and having steel fittings. The snap is marked ''kikit'' and from what i have read one manufacturer used this type of snap fastener on there slings.  read more
