1887 Pattern Martini Henry Bayonet. 2nd Volunteer Battalion Gordon Highlanders.

A very nice unit marked Wilkinson manufactured Martini Henry Bayonet and Leather Frog. The blade has minimal staining and one tiny water mark from the blade resting against the inside scabbard runner for such a long time. Blade has its factory edge with clear markings found to both sides. The date is 1889 so would fit in nice with the Boer War period and the 2nd battalion served in a number of ...  read more

WW2 German Erel M34 ''Square Dip'' Gold Ranked Feuerschutzepolizei Helmet.

WW2 German Erel M34 ''Square Dip'' Gold Ranked Feuerschutzepolizei Helmet.

The shell has close to 100% of its black finish and free of dents or cracks. At one point the helmet had a tipped decal shield, now scraped off. The top comb has been colored gold denoting a particular rank. Side liner rivets are a type that i believe are screw posts, cannot see inside as the liner frame is a ''double frame'' type hiding the ends. The inside liner system is complete with solid ...  read more

WW1 Imperial Prussian Relic Pickelhaube.

WW1 Imperial Prussian Relic Pickelhaube.

Picked this relic up from a mate of mine who lives in the Koblenz area of Germany this week. Its in relic condition and would appear to have been striped for some reason, perhaps for restoration or just bits! As you can see most of the metal fittings are there except for the top plate pins and both side cockades. The inside liner is in relative good supple condition and the item is regimental m...  read more

WW2 German M34 ''Curved Dip'' Feuerschutzepolizei Helmet.

This example has had at least two coats of black finish, the last was applied by a brush, there might well have been decals at one point. Paint finish is nearly 100% complete, shell is dent free. Top comb again dent free with some minor loss of its chromed finsh. The inner liner system is complete and stamped to a fire brigade unit to the top pad, this pad is loose as its arms have come adrift ...  read more
