A ''sleepy'' example that has always been together in my opinion. The ''Mole'' marked blade has its factory cutting edge without other sharpening and has minimal staining with slight knocks to the edges, hard to see. The blade has close to all its period factory finish intact with a minor sharpening to the cutting edge, hardly noticeable in the photos. One side is stamped to the firm Elite Diamant with the other having a clear number stamp 5171, both these correspond to matching stamps on the scabbard including the date 40 found on the spine of the blade.
