In very nice if somewhat dirty condition, surface cleaned with a damp cloth should bring it back to life! This example is supple enough and has tight stitching and strong fixing top strap. The heavy grain to the leather reminds me of the type of leather found in the construction of the folding saw pouches. read more

WW2 German M35 Steel Helmet, ET64.
Reconditioned M35 helmet shell by the ET firm and sized 64. The period helmet shell has a very nice complete flat finish applied to both inside and out. Under this reapplied finish you can just make out a tan coat. Shell is solid without pitting, cracks or dents. Early British Gas Mask and Case. 1941.
Nice set with the bag in nice clean condition with clear makers marks and a 1941 date. The inside early tan gas mask, mix dates 1939/40, is clean as is the hose but the mask has suffered from storage along the rim. All back straps are soundly attached to the mask. In very nice condition with the blade having a good amount of its factory parkerized finish intact, clear RH37 makers mark on one side, the other with very clear US NAVY stamp to the other. Scarce clasp knife as issued by the RAF Beadon flying suits. This example has a very nice amount of its blued finish remaining, strong spring and is totally unmarked. The blade has some wear to the cutting edge.
