BDM / Jungmadel White Shirt Top.
Quite a rare item of uniform gear to find is this small white top shirt for a member of the girls HJ group known as the Jungmadel or JM. It is the correct pattern for JM use as there are no buttons running along the bottom as found on BDM shirts. Condition is very good with all buttons present, they are wooden construction with the BDM/JM markings with some period white paint remaining. Cloth is undamaged with one spot mark to the rear only. Not sure when you might see another example of this rare shirt.
German Officers Field Tailored Summer Jacket.
Stripped summer jacket made up by a field tailor with some alterations as there are two types of coloured cotton used. The condition is very good with strong colour to the material, some staining from use or storage. Some of the button holes have been torn but non have gone all the way thru, as this has a couple of Russian inventory markings and most likely used during some production postwar the stretched holes make sence. The dark green collar at one point appears to have been a covering of black material, remains can be seen, evidence of removed collar patches also seen. The pocket flaps are lined in a light blue/grey material ,there are two pulls thru the jacket were the two shoulder tab buttons once were. Jacket has faulse French cuffs. Worthy of some time spent in restoration as the condition is very nice.
DRK EM Tunic.
Enlisted mans tunic for the German Red Cross thats in very nice condition , only moth damage is to the one bottom corner the rest is perfect with no tracking and good nap to the material. One small chip to the enamel cross on one collar. Lining is perfect, owners initials to a cloth tag to the inside.
Large size German Military Jack Boots.
Very nice, low cut, leather jack boots that are in very nice condition. The leather is mostly supple with just minor hard points, thats in the foot area and im sure some leather feed would work if you really wanted to wear them. There are no loose stitching to the seams and no repairs. The leather soles have nearly all there hob nails and are in strong complete condition, these are a very large size and measure 12 inches from toe to heal.
1942 Dated ATS Service Cap.
Made in Glasgow in 1942 this example has survived in very nice condition, this OR's version has no moth nips or tracking, nap to the cloth is in sound condition, original brass ATS cap badge to the front, both original palstic chinstrap buttons present, inside liner is in used condition but makers details and date are very clear, former owners name label sewn to the inside.
WW2 British White Medical Helmet.
Stunning example with around 80% of its white finish to the outside remaining, the red cross to the front of the helmet only is 100% complete. The inside has an early brown army finish with the white paint just being painted to the skirt. The liner is in used supple condition but im afraid its lost its top pad, chinstrap is complete and in very good condition. No makers or date markings can be made out to the helmet because of the white overpaint but the liner is size stamped 7 and has a small number 465 with a broadarrow but i cannot find a makers mark or date. At first i thought this might have been a winter camo army helmet with red cross added but with the thickness of the white finish i now belive that this is a Home Front medics helmet, the first i have every managed to find in my years as a collector.
WW2 British Army Helmet. Super Condition.
One of the better conditioned examples that i have found in a long time. Out side has a rough finish olive drab paint job, id say nearly 98% with some scratches from storage. Inside has all its original finish with the owners initials in pencil. The liner is in very nice supple condition, just some of the finish has lifted from the outer edges were i belive this was stacked onto another lid, top squre pad is perfect. Helmet date is faint from the paint finish but looks like 1940, liner is dated 1940. Chinstrap is in perfect unissued condition. If you want one example that would be very hard to upgrade then this is the one.
