British DPM WW2 Style Windproof Type Smock.

Obviously made ''in house'' for use by a serving soldier. The machine stitch work is a professionally tailored as seen by the neck to the hood and seams along the shoulder area but for some reason the four button holes, the velcro fasteners to the bottom sleeves and the inside edging. A very nice clean condition barathea jacket with no moth holes or tracking that i can find. Both top pockets have the fasten down snaps to the corners and all Kings Crown brass buttons are present. British Rescue Helmet, 1938 Dated.

This helmet was once an early army issued example evident by the inside and chinstrap bale color. The black finish i would rate at over 75% complete with an overall mix of rust bleed showing through.
