WW1 German 1898/05 Sawback Bayonet. High Ears.
A nice scarce early ''high ears'' example with the Simson & Co marked blade having some dark staining, factory edge and sharp profile to the top teeth, spine has a 1915 date. The metal hilt again with an overall dark finish, one waffenampt stamp and a working top button. Both wooden grips are chip and crack free. WW2 R.W.A.F.F. Slouch Hat with Formation Patch.
A nice well worn example with some staining to the material and a couple of moth nips and tracking. The button side has a nice metal RWAFF cap badge with the other side having a faded cloth triangular patch which would designate Battalion and Regiment with colored service strip underneath.
