In very nice condition and i would guess unissued set of Lewis gun pouches with straps and as worn. The four pouches are all marked MECo 1940 with three having a ''U'' under a broad arrow stamp. Both large straps are stamped MECo1941 with an extra small strap being dated 1940. A well used set belonging to ...CH-20105-PTE-T.J.HEWETT who served in the R.M.L.I. during WW1. All medals are clearly stamped with Hewett's full details. As a side note Hewett was born and enlisted in London aged of 17 in 1915, he also served during WW2 as well. read more

Front Seam, Fixed Bale, M1 Steel Combat Helmet with Cross of Lorraine Liner
Lets start with the Firestone marked liner as in my opinion its the best bit. It would all seem to correspond to a late 43 or early 44 date of manufacture with steel coated liner washers, trimmed neck suspension band, nape strap without buckle,flat khaki liner tightening lace and the light khaki strapping.
