A very nice personal item issued to a naval rating with a clear maker and date stamp to the inside and a clear naval anchor stamp. The owner has penned his service locations to the top, four being wartime naval shore bases the last the name of a Dido-Class destroyer. In very nice condition with stained blade, clear USMC stamp and light sharpening. The wooden handle is clean with good color. The leather scabbard is complete with tight stitching and faint makers details. Im sure its a ''Boyt'' made example with a 1943 date. read more
