A well used cap with a very course material body, some minor moth tracking and nap wear. The red band material again with minor tracking and nap wear. The actual visor peak is attached solidly but has suffered from heat and bad storage. I believe the chinstrap is period but one side button has been replaced. A nice clean example of the Swiss M96 Pattern Tschako to the 60th Battalion Machine Gun Company. The only damage i can find is the period repair to the chinstrap, no moth nips or tracking to the material. Inside liner system is complete and named twice to the owner. read more

Well this example is complete folks but has suffered from moth damage over the years and at some point the ''stiffener'' has come through the material at the back.
